rockefeller center ice skate experience redesign | co-op 2025.

Fall of 2025, I had the amazing opportunity of working in the Financial District of NYC with Woods Bagot Architecture & Interior firm.

I was able to experience the world of interior design through such an incredible project at the one and only, Rockefeller Center.

The project was to redesign the ice skating experience of Rockefeller Center. I worked with such an inspiring team and was able to dive into once in a lifetime dream to redesign a NYC landmark experience.

I was lucky enough to join the team right at the beginning of the project allowing me to work on design conceptualization, mood boards, circulation programming, material sourcing, FFE, spec books, go to site visits & more!

The project is set to be done Fall of 2026 & I can’t wait to return to see our designs come to life.

historical research & image sourcing to be able to craft the perfect experience for skaters of any age.

ideation & sketches: developing durable concepts for check-in desks, signage, & cocoa carts that are not only supposed to follow our design palette, but also be movable & changeable for off season buyouts.

alongside that, I worked on an interior styling project in Brooklyn, NY & the beginning of a project in Greece.

truly the most incredible NYC dream job experience I could ever ask for.

thank you Woods Bagot.

taking inspiration from the art deco of New York City & the warmth of ski culture we wanted to curate an experience of magic & nostalgia for everyone that skates at Rockefeller Center.

material studies: looking for durable, long lasting materials that could withstand high traffic & skate blades but still spoke to the luxury & art deco that surrounds Rockefeller Center.
